Mazda3 and CX-30 receive new grades and features

The widely popular Mazda3 and Mazda CX-30 are now even more compelling thanks to an abundance of meaningful updates applied for 2026, further enhancing two of the most popular vehicles in the brand’s lineup.

Headlining the latest changes to the CX-30 is the addition of two new model grades – CX-30 G25 Evolve SP and CX-30 G25 GT.

The new CX-30 G25 Evolve SP builds on the extensively equipped Evolve grade and debuts black cloth seats with red stitching that also extends to the armrest, centre console and dashboard.

On the exterior, the Evolve SP evokes a distinctively sporty character thanks to a host of gloss-black trimmings extending to the 18-inch alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, roof rails and badges.

The new CX-30 G25 GT adds luxury with the fitment of a glass sunroof, black leather interior, heated front seats and a 10-way powered drivers’ seat with position memory, as well as 18-inch silver alloy wheels, silver roof rails, body-coloured mirrors, and silver badging. Both grades are exclusively mated to the G25 Skyactiv-G powertrain and also benefit from advanced keyless entry.

The comprehensively equipped Vision Technology is now a complimentary feature fitted on all G25-powered CX-30 models and adds a 360-degree View Monitor with See-Through View, Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS), Driver Monitoring, front parking sensors, Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) and Front Cross Traffic Brake (FCTB) – a new addition for 2026. Vision technology remains standard on the Mazda3 from G20 Touring grades.

The high-grade CX-30 G25 GT SP debuts White Maztex seats with grey synthetic suede inserts, and sports the same gloss-black exterior highlights as the Evolve SP, including roof rails, exterior mirrors, signature grille and front and rear badging, all emphasising the model’s sharp Kodo – Soul of Motion design. The CX-30 GT SP and Astina grades also welcome ventilated seats, a first-time feature on the CX-30 range.

Elsewhere in the range, the CX-30 and Mazda3 now benefit from the standard fitment of the 10.25-inch Mazda Connect screen, and introduces wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ across all grades.

Both the Mazda3 and CX-30 also welcome improvements in the safety department –Smart Brake Support (SBS) now detects motorcycles, turn across traffic, and head on collisions, while intersection collision avoidance assist is also included.

The Mazda CX-30 range is available with the recently debuted Zinc Green Metallic premium paint, adding a distinctive new colour option to the line-up. Aero Grey Metallic will also join the available colour palette for CX-30 and Mazda3, while Ceramic Metallic and Zircon Sand Metallic will be discontinued.

Commenting on the latest updates for both the Mazda CX-30 and Mazda3, Director of Sales and Marketing at Mazda Australia, Jarrod Gieschen, said: “The Mazda3 and CX-30 continue to be important models within our line-up, offering our customers a compelling combination of award-winning design and engaging driving dynamics – and with the latest updates, we’re adding even more value into the equation.”

The updated Mazda3 and Mazda CX-30 are available to order now, with deliveries commencing later this month.
